Amanat

In Kazakh, the word Amanat means ancestral will. A beautiful title considering that the very young siblings starring in the attraction, Danat and Danali, aged just 9 and 11, are the third generation of a prestigious circus lineage in their country: the Dosbatyrov family. In 2024, the attraction won first prize at the Rosgoscyrk Festival in Tula and the silver award and four special prizes at the Artist Festival held at the prestigious Nikulin Circus in Moscow. The exceptional technique and great charisma of these new stars thrill the audience.

Duo Black Diamonds

The trinka is the apparatus used by the Icarians: it allows the porter to lie face up with their clavicles held and their legs bent, ready to throw their partner, the agile or weather vane, into the air. Created by Professor Risley, this attraction is often referred to as the Risley act, especially in the United States. Today, it has the largest number of performers in Ethiopia. Aged 30 and 19, Asfaw and Biruk were students at the Circus Family Training School in their country between 2018 and 2023. They arrived in Parru after touring Saudi Arabia as artists in the show Florilegio, the Togni family’s Italian circus.

Antony Cesar

Born to a tightrope walker father and a dancer mother, this young artist combined family learning with formal training at one of Europe’s largest circus schools. The result is a sublime attraction, a true work of aerial art where perfect choreography conceals immense physical strength and flawless technique. At just over twenty, he has already starred in major shows and festivals: Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione in Paris, the Budapest Circus, the Royal Palace music hall in France, Nits de Circ in Spain, and the Saliery Festival (Legnano), Latina Festival (Budapest), and Chimelong Festival (China).

Bettina Bogdan & Krisztina Vellai

The only live female trapeze act in the world was created in 2005 by Hungarian artists Bettina Mezo and Edina Tokar. Depending on the performance, the performer’s body acts as a trapeze bar in the air. After the act’s demise in 2020, two new performers, always from Hungary, revived the attraction: Bettina Bogdan and Krisztina Vellai. In their five-year career, they have showcased their daring aerial feats in the shows Ohlala in Switzerland, Flic Flac in Germany, Billionaire in Dubai, and Palazzo in Mannheim. They have just completed a tour with Cirque du Soleil’s country show “Songblazers.”

BuBi Guiner

Under the stage name Gleyston Guiner “Bubi” lies the comedic talent of Gleiston Pedroso. He belongs to the fourth generation of a Rio de Janeiro circus lineage and from a young age he put aside acrobatic training to fully dedicate himself to the noble profession of creating smiles. A regular face in the seasons of the great Brazilian circus Stankowich, he has performed at Europa Park (Germany), Circus Vazquez (USA), Circo Ciniselli (Russia) and Festival Elefante de Oro (Spain). In his country, he has combined performances in various shows with his appearances on television, on the SBT Program of the Ratinho.

China National Acrobatic Troupe

China’s national acrobat troupe has enjoyed remarkable worldwide acclaim thanks to the numerous awards it has won for its main attractions, some of which have become icons of 20th and 21st-century Chinese circus, such as this quintet of tightrope walkers. It won first prize at the National Acrobatics Festival in China (2013) and gold at the international festivals of Paris (2014), Monte-Carlo (2015), and Wuqiao (2019), among others. This act has the originality of combining flexibility and strength with a highly elegant staging.

China National Acrobatic Troupe

The world’s most prestigious acrobat collective was the first performing arts company created by the Chinese government in 1950. Based in Beijing, its attractions exquisitely blend the country’s ancient acrobatic tradition with classical and contemporary melodies, dances, and drama. The group bicycle act is rarely presented with both men and women, as in this case. A total of seventeen tightrope walkers make up this authentic ballet on wheels. The first version of the act won first prize at the National Acrobatics Competition in China in 1991.

Clowns Prosvirnin

The Soviet circus produced brilliant clowns like Popov, Karandash, and Nikulin. Today, Sergey Prosvirnin is one of the only artists to follow in his footsteps. His comic tap-dancing performance has become a smile-inducing masterpiece. First with his partner Starikov, later with his son, and now, finally, with his grandson Andrey, Sergey has become so popular that even toy stores in his country carry dolls bearing his likeness. A Silver Prize winner at the Monte-Carlo Festival, he has performed in numerous countries.

Duo Vitalys

Without a doubt, the most internationally renowned Peruvian circus attraction of our century. After their respective athletic careers, Pablo and Joel’s paths crossed at the Tarumba Circus School. They created an act that blended strength and precision. Their performance at the Golden Elephant Festival in Spain (2016) catapulted them to conquer audiences at prestigious circuses (Sakura and Pop Circus in Japan, d’Hiver in Paris, Roncalli in Germany), cabarets (Ovag or Billionaire), festivals (Idol Moscow, Bulgaria, Wuqiao, Circuba), television programs (Tu Sí Que Vales in Italy or Got Talent Spain), and Christmas shows (Carré Amsterdam or Stuttgart). In 2018, they achieved the Guinness World Record for climbing stairs while balancing on their heads in Girona.

Elena Drogaleva & her Gentlemen

The attraction was created in 2002 at the Nikulin Circus in Moscow with music composed by Denis Garnisov. They have performed in prestigious circuses: Big Apple (USA), Phenix and Cirque d’Hiver (Paris), Krone and Stuttgart (Germany), Carré (Amsterdam), and Salto Natale (Zurich).
